The web masters bomber flight "mission" tally !

It started out some years ago with a dream, to fly just once in a B-17 Flying Fortress and I finally achieved goal back in 2002.

As other opportunities for warbird flights have came along, I became a man with a long term mission, to try and fly in all of the surviving airworthy B-17's. As of Sep '11 the score is seven of ten still flying.

Right now, I'm in the process of updating this section to focus on the rides flown in 2010 & '11 with pictures and video clips. The 75th Anniversary of the first flight of the prototype Model 299 plus Thunder Over Michigan's "Gathering of Fortresses" called for a true maximum effort and made for a trip of a life time!
