The Collings Foundation's B-24 is painted to represent a Liberator legend of the Mighty Eighth Air Force. Assigned to the 467th Bomb Group, the original 'Witchcraft' took part on the group's very first mission on April 10th 1944. It went on to take part in the group's 220th and last mission on April 25th 1945. During that period, it flew a total of 130 missions from Rackheath Airfield, England. The airplane also chalked up 70 of these missions without having to return to base due to a mechanical problem.

Caroline Lindgren and Rob Collings fly the B-24

The Collings Foundations Wings of Freedom Tour travels far and wide across the United States each year. Stopping at an average of one hundred and twenty cities, they bring the history of these World War Two bombers and the men that flew them, to as many people as possible.
